The wall fallen

Two years ago, I was in the high school, that day was like other normal day. However, when we returned from the playground, we were so bored, and we decided to play football in the class until the arrival of the professor.

We were a lot of people, we began to play five vs five in the back of the class, it had people from the two classes, A vs B, we were B. The match began to be so agressive and violent, and we fight. Then someone pushed to my friend, and this boy hit the wall of the class, this wall wasn`t very good, and with this shock the wall fell. As a consequence, the roof fell too.

All of us were very afraid and we run away. When the professor came to the class, he can´t believe it. He began to look for the causers of this problem. At the beginning all the people were silent, however the intense pressure which the professor have felt us, it did that we confess.

Finally the professor repaired the roof and the wall, and we returned to us house with a warning.

Should genetherapy be used to cure people?

Some people think gene therapy should be used to cure people because their health is the most important thing and the technology should be used for that. Gene therapy is an experimental technique that uses genes to treat or prevent diseases.

On the one hand ,the most important factor in the development of gene therapy is the fact that, for genetic disorders, there is only one way of curing the disease, gene therapy, when successful, can have a number of advantages over drug therapy such as providing a cure rather than easing the symptoms.

On the other hand , in clinical trials already carried out the effects of the treatment have only been short-lived. Researchers are testing several approaches to gene therapy. Moreover, replacing a mutated gene that causes disease with a healthy copy of the gene.

In my opinion, gene therapy must be used for healthy people but always with one limit , because if all the people could live a lot of time there would be over population and we can't live in this world because the natural resource would have finished.

The importance of recycling

In this text I will talk about the importance of the recycling, why we due recycle, and what will happen in the future if we don't recycle now.

Recycling is very important for the future of our planet. We must recycle because we can't 'use all time the natural resources because we finally will finish with them. For example, the trees, we must recycle all the paper that we can, in this way, we will can reduce the tree felling, we need the trees for the produce of oxygen.
Another reason why we must recycle is because we can reduce the water pollution, if we don't begin to recycle now, in the future we don't have any water.
Another think that we get if we recycle is that we prevent the global warming, we prevent release of 32.9 millions metrics tons of carbon.

In conclusion, we must recycle if we want to have a good future and to have a better life.

New green discount for the congestion charge comes

Motorists who did not pay London's congestion charge because they drive green vehicles may lose their discount. Transport for London has scrapped the Greener Vehicle Discount, which applied to vehicles emitting 100g/km CO2 or less. It is replacing it with the Ultra Low Emission Discount with provides a concession to vehicles that emit 75g/km of CO2 or less. The penalty for not paying the charge has also risen from £120 to £130.A spokesman for Transport for London said there were about 20,000 motorists currently eligible for the Greener Vehicle Discount. 'Makes sense' They will be granted a three-year "sunset period" before they are made to pay the full congestion charge, he said. The congestion charge for cars entering the central London zone currently stands at £10 - or £9 for drivers who are registered to pay via an automated payment service. Professor Stephen Glaister from the RAC Foundation said: "Over time vehicles have got much more efficient and produced less CO2, so it makes sense to reduce the threshold and only allow the very lowest emitters to have the concession." Matthew Pencharz, the mayor of London's advisor on the environment, said: "These changes are in line with the mayor's aim to improve air quality in London by reducing emissions from private vehicles and promoting the further development of low emission vehicles. "We want to encourage the continued development of these technologies, while also protecting the benefits to traffic flow in the centre of London that the charge provides."

What is the Health Impact of Fast Food?

The impact to health from fast food is quite staggering when it is consumed on a regular basis. Unfortunately, an ever growing number of households are doing exactly that, as fewer and fewer families rely on someone doing any conventional cooking using fresh food ingredients. Far too many households feed themselves on a constant, daily diet of microwaved ready meals with very little or zero fresh fruit or vegetables. Then they "treat" themselves to a meal out, by visiting a burger or pizza restaurant, or if they're feeling in need of a healthy meal, a steak and fries restaurant! Here's what's wrong with that. When your diet is lacking in fresh fruit and vegetables, your intake of essential nutrients that are derived from these sources is almost zero. Your intake of dietary fiber is also low to nonexistent.By replacing fresh wholesome food with processed, additive laden food, you do the following things to your body: Raise your blood pressure Increase the levels of bad (LDL) cholesterol Retard your metabolic rate (the rate at which you digest, process and eliminate food) Weaken your immune system Destabilize your blood sugar levels Reduce the ability of your colon to function properly What all this does to your body is it increases your fat storage, especially if you lead a sedentary lifestyle. It places you at risk of strokes from high blood pressure, type II diabetes from irregular blood sugar levels, heart attacks from raised LDL cholesterol levels, cancer of the colon because it cannot process the waste products properly, more frequent illness as your immune system is compromised and a greater chance of contracting other cancers as your levels of antioxidants is so low. It increases your chances of contracting arthritis and other inflammatory diseases at an increasingly younger age as your overall body acidity rate increases, lowering your ability to process and remove excess uric acid from your bloodstream. It also leads to weight gain and obesity, further increasing the likelihood of strokes and heart attacks. All in all, it paints a pretty gloomy picture. So what can you do to redress the balance? You need to cut out most of the fast, processed food from your diet food delivery system and replace it with traditional, home cooked meals prepared and made from fresh vegetables, meat and fish. You should include fresh fruits and berries in that diet and switch to wholemeal bread and pasta to increase your body's intake of the all-important dietary fiber. You may have spent years doing untold amounts of damage to your body, but that damage can be undone and fixed by switching your diet. Its never too late, unless you're about to check out of the hospital in a wooden box. So don't let it come to that and make the change now! If you don't care about doing it for yourself, at least do it for your children. Show them you love them and give them a chance at living a healthy and long life by cooking them good wholesome food like your grandmother used to make for your parents and if you were lucky enough, like your parents did for you.
